Similar to humans’ expending brain-biophysiological resources and creating more synaptic sparks so to speak, for critical thinking and predictive abilities*, I learned that my PC and laptop warms up more when I get both Claude3 (more expenditure) and ChatGPT4 do more tasks needing intellectual thinking and predictive abilities.
Processing huge amounts of data has very little effect on the expending of device resources (hence no heating up of device). It really is those 2 ‘thinking-analyzing’ abilities that uses more amounts of device resources.
Depending on what you get AI to do, your device’s CPU, Graphic Card (GPU), RAM, Storage (ROM), power/electricity – These are basically the device resources that all come to play.
And it’s true based on my own usage that Claude3 is a more correctly analytical AI than ChatGPT4 (But Claude3 cannot create images and CharGPT4 can, not too nice yet though, but Claude3 can really hyper-analyze images, ChatGPT4 can’t) its processing activities are higher but at the same time Claude3 does heat up my devices higher, my laptop fan starts to run.
* But of course humans are living beings, have feelings, emotions – Each human being has a ‘soul’. And are not just huge chunks of codes or a piece of gadget.
AI is a very useful software tool and dependable human assistant, really, there just has to be a solid, stable and uncorrupted regulatory body especially in the design-building phase and the management of it when an AI becomes operational.
And/or there must be rational and applicable laws created especially for the design-building and usage of each type of AI.
It should not be built, used or embedded into any type of weaponry.
Should not also be built and used for spying, stalking and violation of personal privacy.
